It’s been almost 6 months since my Toby was adopted, and this Sunday, I decided to take him on a little visit to the shelter with me. I was anxious about it, since he is SO afraid of everything, and didn’t want him to fear of being left there.. But it turns out, I was just a worried mum, because he was more than fine!
After 10 minutes of being a bit more careful and confused, he jumped right into being very happy and joyful. He was playing with all the other dogs for hours, wagging his tail, being a little bundle of joy that he always is. It was so nice seeing him so confident and brave and friendly with all the other ones..
I took a lot of photos, as I did last weekend – also, can’t wait to show you those once I’m allowed to post some; and he just ran around like crazy for hours.
I was also so touched to see how excited he was to see the girls that took care of him when he was there.. We were all proud of him and he knew he was the star. 🙂
After a few hours, he finally got tired so he stood at the gates like “Okay, this was great, now let’s go home to my big, fluffy bed.” So we did, and right after we both had a bath (separately, believe it or not) – he passed out on my bed and enjoyed his little safe place.
❤ I’m excited to be going back and helping with photos for the shelter, and also taking him with me whenever I go so he can enjoy his old and new friends. And I hope you enjoy photos of these wonderful beauties.
